In a surprising collaboration that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to multiple items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Update
